This research study investigates industry best practices for mul-site and campus-area Wireless LANs (WLANs),based on a recent survey of 163 organizations.
Providing comprehensive wireless network coverage for multi-location WLAN installations presents special challenges: how to scale the infrastructure without a geometric increase in equipment and support costs and decrease in system efficiency. The findings of this study apply to the multi-location enterprise as well as to vertical industry sectors such as healthcare, education, retail, and hospitality.
